Grandma and Grandpa Bundy have always dreamt of taking grandkids on trips, and this past summer it was finally Kimball's turn. They were supposed to go in 2021, but Covid made travelling unpredictable so they postponed it a year. In order for them to go, I got to take all of the kids to Albuquerque where we hung out with my brother Robert while they were gone. Dale had to stay home and work, so he and Shadow kept each other company.

September 2016
I think September might be one of the most exciting months of the year for Dale...simply because college football starts. But, it was a pretty fun month for our family as a whole! We found out that we are having a baby girl and everyone is thrilled!!!

August 2016
August saw the end of summer for our family and the beginning of another school year. Before school started, we tried to pack in a few more fun things...
One of the perks of summer was sleeping in. The boys would often wake up first and get Lily up before I even heard her. One morning I walked into the living room to find this:

We are so blessed...
In May, school got out on the 12th due to budget cuts. It's been rainy and cooler than I've been expecting, but we still got to enjoy popsicles...

February 2016
Honestly, I'm glad to see February go. It was one of the hardest, longest months of my life. There were some highlights throughout it though...
I love seeing kids in PJs; it's so darn cute!

October 2015
We started October in the 90's and it ended in the 60's. The trees haven't changed much yet, but it's cooler. We paid $1000 to have our huge trees out front trimmed! Lily loved watching all of the heavy machinery; the boys were also thrilled to come home after school and watch.

August
I love this time of year! I love how the weather is cooling down and things start to calm down briefly before all the holiday chaos happens. After our trip to Colorado, we had a week before school started. Cameron was so excited for school to start, but Kimball just wanted to keep swimming every day. School came before we knew it!
Kimball is in 3rd grade. At his school, they have homeroom teachers, math teachers and English teachers. Each day Kimball comes off the bus reading a different book, and he loves the "I Survived" series. Cameron's in 1st grade and his school is doing a super hero theme...a little boy's biggest dreams come true!

Boston!
Dale's Dad and his wife Sharon are serving a mission in the Boston temple so we decided to visit! The boys were especially excited to add a bunch of vehicles to their "having been ridden" repertoire. We started off our journey on a plane on Thursday June 4th :)
The boys loved having screens to themselves and as many Doritos as their bellies could hold. Lily was amazing and even slept part of the flight.
Dale's dad paid for a taxi to take us to their apartment, and when the parents arrived, we headed to a local park to burn some extra energy.
Lily even went to Grandpa!
On Friday, we took the subway to the Museum of Science in Boston. There was so much to do and see that we were there for hours!
Half way through our museum adventure, we went on a Duck Tour. I loved the quick dialogue of history, and the fact that we rode a duck. Kimball, Cameron and I all took a turn driving the duck in the water.
We went back to the museum and spent the rest of our day there.
On Saturday, the missionaries had to work in the temple, but thanks to a family in their ward being willing to babysit for us, we were able to attend a session in the temple. The celestial room was incredible!
After we retrieved our kids, we took the subway and walked the Freedom Trail. It took the majority of the day and it was hard for the boys to walk so much (plus Kimball was recovering from a fever/cough/blah).
We made it all the way to the USS Constitution which was dry-docked so we couldn't tour it :(.
Then we rode a ferry back to Boston.
That night we went out to dinner and had lobster. Dale thinks he is allergic to lobster which gives us an out from having to eat it anymore ;).
Sunday morning we attended church and ran into some of my parent's good friends. Then we went to the temple and took some pictures.
We drove to Plymouth and went to the Plimouth Plantation. It was fun to see the re-enactors and walk through life as it was in the 17th Century.
We saw Plymouth Rock and what we thought was the Mayflower 2...
Then we went to the beach. The boys loved hunting for shells and brought home a grocery sack full!
Lily loved the sand and eating whatever she could get her cute little hands on.
On Monday, we went to Lexington and Concord to see the Minute Man Museum and walk the Battle Road.
Standing where the Revolutionary War began was the most moving part of the trip for me...I'm so grateful for the sacrifices these men and women made so that our country could become what it is today.
Tuesday morning, we woke up before 4 to get to the airport in time. The flight was uneventful and we drove home, happy to be there. It was a fun trip with so much to do and see. There was so much more on our list that we missed, but it was a wonderful adventure! It's hard to summarize a trip in one blog post with only a few out of our 300+ pictures :).

May 2015
May was Oklahoma's wettest May ever...it rained all the time! This meant muddy floors and major cabin fever. Our back yard was a marsh and many of our plants/grass drowned. We even got to go in the tornado shelter for the first time when the sirens went off.
On May 5th, I got to go with Cameron's class to the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum. I had Lily, Cameron and another boy to keep track of, and with only 3 kids to worry about, I still lost Cameron once.
Kimball got to be one of the leaders in the AR parade at school and almost made 100 points this year in AR.
On Mother's Day, there was so much rain that church was cancelled because roads were washed out. I had a stomach bug, but Dale worked hard to make it a special day for me. I got a new bench on our front porch.
The boys finished up the soccer season and were so thrilled to get trophies! Kimball even scored his first goal.
Lily turned 10 months old!
Our ward primary had a drive in movie. The boys collected boxes for weeks before hand. Cameron made a space ship and Kimball made an ice cream truck.
On the last day of school, Cameron got sick with a fever and had to stay home. That started weeks of illness being passed around with fevers and coughs :(
We went on a walk/bike ride at the "lake park".
I had to go to OKC for an appointment and took all the kids with me. We went to the 45th Infantry Museum, Toys R Us and Target.
I took Lily and Cameron to the park to try to get some pictures of Lily. Afterwards, she fell asleep and Cam & I rode the train there and had a little date.

Lily at 9 months
Lily, you have officially been out of my belly longer than you were in it! You are growing and learning at such a rapid pace and it's getting harder to keep up with you.
On March 17th, we went to the park and you tried out the swings for the first time...you loved it!
You are crawling everywhere and love getting into anything within reach.
This past month, you started eating a lot! I puree and freeze your food in ice cube trays, and you will often eat 3 or more ice cubes worth of peas, carrots or sweet potatoes. Then you will eat some oatmeal or cereal. Now that we've started to give you some finger foods (like cereal and bread) you are becoming more reluctant to eat mush...not that I can blame you.
You are still nursing 4 times a day, after you wake up in the morning, after both of your naps, and just before bedtime. You sleep from 8:00-7:00ish most nights and take two naps which last around 1-1.5 hours.
You discovered blowing raspberries and you love to do it when you're done eating...resulting in food all over the place. Sometimes, you even get it on the back of your head somehow!
This past month you started waving bye bye and using our hands or your toy walker to walk a little bit. You also started clapping and cruising along the furniture (by 3/24/15).
On April 5th, you stood up without holding anything for a few seconds, but you haven't tried again since. With the rise in humidity, your hair has started to curl in the back and I am so excited to see what it does as it gets longer. I love playing with your little curly-cues!
And, you are finally ticklish! "This Little Piggy" makes you giggle, and you have a ticklish spot on the side of your neck. Your sweet laugh makes me so happy. You laugh at your brothers quite often. If I'm trying to get you to smile, all I have to do is call Kimball or Cameron over and you start laughing.
Also, you still love shoes! You love to chew on any shoe you can find and you are very talented at untying Daddy's shoes.
Sweet girl, you are such a joy. Some days are hard when you cry a lot or can't communicate what you want to me, but I am so grateful for you! Thank you for the fun and laughter you bring to my life.
Life with you is definitely an adventure! We love you beyond words Lily Loo.
