Lily, you have officially been out of my belly longer than you were in it! You are growing and learning at such a rapid pace and it's getting harder to keep up with you.
On March 17th, we went to the park and you tried out the swings for the first time...you loved it!
You are crawling everywhere and love getting into anything within reach.
This past month, you started eating a lot! I puree and freeze your food in ice cube trays, and you will often eat 3 or more ice cubes worth of peas, carrots or sweet potatoes. Then you will eat some oatmeal or cereal. Now that we've started to give you some finger foods (like cereal and bread) you are becoming more reluctant to eat mush...not that I can blame you.
You are still nursing 4 times a day, after you wake up in the morning, after both of your naps, and just before bedtime. You sleep from 8:00-7:00ish most nights and take two naps which last around 1-1.5 hours.
You discovered blowing raspberries and you love to do it when you're done eating...resulting in food all over the place. Sometimes, you even get it on the back of your head somehow!
This past month you started waving bye bye and using our hands or your toy walker to walk a little bit. You also started clapping and cruising along the furniture (by 3/24/15).
On April 5th, you stood up without holding anything for a few seconds, but you haven't tried again since. With the rise in humidity, your hair has started to curl in the back and I am so excited to see what it does as it gets longer. I love playing with your little curly-cues!
And, you are finally ticklish! "This Little Piggy" makes you giggle, and you have a ticklish spot on the side of your neck. Your sweet laugh makes me so happy. You laugh at your brothers quite often. If I'm trying to get you to smile, all I have to do is call Kimball or Cameron over and you start laughing.
Also, you still love shoes! You love to chew on any shoe you can find and you are very talented at untying Daddy's shoes.
Sweet girl, you are such a joy. Some days are hard when you cry a lot or can't communicate what you want to me, but I am so grateful for you! Thank you for the fun and laughter you bring to my life.
Life with you is definitely an adventure! We love you beyond words Lily Loo.
