Our biggest adventure in May was our cabin camping trip over Memorial Day weekend with the Ferrells...
In front of our cabin

We stayed at a cabin in Dallas NE Campground. Our cabin was literally right on the lake and it was so nice to get away from Corona Virus life (to some degree) and just let our kids be kids.

May 2017

Our family dynamics always change dramatically in May with the end of school and start of summer break. This year was no exception. Judy was especially apprehensive about keeping 4 kids entertained/fed/safe all summer long!

We are so blessed...
In May, school got out on the 12th due to budget cuts. It's been rainy and cooler than I've been expecting, but we still got to enjoy popsicles...

May 2015

May was Oklahoma's wettest May ever...it rained all the time! This meant muddy floors and major cabin fever. Our back yard was a marsh and many of our plants/grass drowned. We even got to go in the tornado shelter for the first time when the sirens went off.
On May 5th, I got to go with Cameron's class to the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum. I had Lily, Cameron and another boy to keep track of, and with only 3 kids to worry about, I still lost Cameron once.
Kimball got to be one of the leaders in the AR parade at school and almost made 100 points this year in AR.
On Mother's Day, there was so much rain that church was cancelled because roads were washed out. I had a stomach bug, but Dale worked hard to make it a special day for me. I got a new bench on our front porch.
The boys finished up the soccer season and were so thrilled to get trophies! Kimball even scored his first goal.

Lily turned 10 months old!
Our ward primary had a drive in movie. The boys collected boxes for weeks before hand. Cameron made a space ship and Kimball made an ice cream truck.

On the last day of school, Cameron got sick with a fever and had to stay home. That started weeks of illness being passed around with fevers and coughs :(

We went on a walk/bike ride at the "lake park".
Waiting for the goose family to cross the sidewalk
I had to go to OKC for an appointment and took all the kids with me. We went to the 45th Infantry Museum, Toys R Us and Target.
Kimball enjoyed taking selfies :)

I took Lily and Cameron to the park to try to get some pictures of Lily. Afterwards, she fell asleep and Cam & I rode the train there and had a little date.

May 2014

May passed like a whirlwind and now we are in summer break! Thankfully the weather has been mostly bearable with rain this past week and cooler temperatures.

Dale walked into our room one morning and declared that maybe it was time for a haircut...
Cameron is very into matching right now; every single article of clothing possible had to be blue one morning.
Dale & I got to go see Cam in his spring musical performance.
I started taking Duke to the bus stop in the mornings and Kimball loved running around while we waited for the bus.
The day before Mother's Day was our nephew's Eagle awards ceremony in Norman so Dale took me on a shopping spree. I got to buy several cute, and much needed, summer maternity items.
31 weeks pregnant
On Mother's Day I was released from my calling in Primary, so I got to spend all three meetings downstairs. After church we took the traditional Mother's Day pictures. Dale went all out making me breakfast in bed, dinner, and treating me like a queen.

Kimball dressed up for 50's day at school. He insisted that his hair had to be spiky.
The boys had parties/activities wrapping up the end of the school year. Since school got out, we have enjoyed not having to wake up as early in the morning. The days have been pretty simple with the boys spending as much time outside as possible since I know it will only get hotter.

Cam also lost his second tooth. One day it was super wiggly and since his first tooth fell out while brushing his teeth, he was convinced that this was the correct tooth-removing method and it totally worked.
Our ward had a campout last weekend. I went out for dinner and came home to enjoy a quiet night in my own bed. Kimball & Cam slept in their own little tent, leaving our huge two-room tent to Dale. They played baseball, hiked around, had a fireside, and apparently breakfast was phenomenal.
