August saw the end of summer for our family and the beginning of another school year. Before school started, we tried to pack in a few more fun things...

One of the perks of summer was sleeping in. The boys would often wake up first and get Lily up before I even heard her. One morning I walked into the living room to find this:

Our swimming options weren't that great this summer, but we did play in our itty bitty pool a bit...

We went to the park for a family fun event and got to ride the carousel and train!

We finally got to tell our boys about our rainbow baby! They are so excited to be big brothers again and were hoping for a girl so our family could be more balanced. Lily is clueless about the whole thing and we're hoping the transition will go well when our little baby arrives in February.

Kimball is always a monkey wherever we go...

The week before school I finally made good on my promise to go to the children's museum and the kids all loved it!

One night our house was being shown so we decided to pass the time bowling...

Then it was the first day of school! Kimball started 4th grade and Cameron started 2nd.

I was worried that Lily would have a hard transition with the boys being gone all day since they were her playmates all summer, but she has loved it! She runs around the house laughing and squealing most of the day :). I think she enjoys having the house and Mom to herself!

We also had a ward luau...

and enjoyed a good game of dominoes one night :)
