| Mother's Day 2017 |
It's so fun to watch Lily as a big sister! She adores Becca and, for the most part, has been so good with her. Whenever Becca cries, Lily drops what she's doing and runs over to Becca squealing "It's ok, it's ok! I got ya!" Becca is very good-natured and almost always smiles when Lily comes into view. Lily loves trains lately; especially Thomas.
Dale took the boys on a scout camp-out down at our bishop's property. Dale slept in a hammock and says it was more comfortable than the ground. Kimball caught several fish the next day and has apparently exceeded Dale's lifetime total of catching fish.
Kimball also had his first two baseball games (his team won both!), had his last day of school, cooked dinner for the family for the first time (mac & cheese, hot dogs, fish sticks, grape drink mix, peaches, and corn), got poison ivy and had a horrible rash, and learned a hard lesson about scams when he spent his money on 3 fidget spinners and ended up only getting one with a missing piece.
Cameron was in the AR parade (advanced reading?), had his last day of 2nd grade, caught a frog, and kept us all safe with a trash can lid.
We also celebrated Mother's Day (Judy got a bike!), went to Dallas for Memorial Day, Becca turned 3 months old, and had a visit from Judy's roommate/best friend Becky and her kids! Now she's moved even farther away :(. But it was so much fun to stay up late talking and catching up.
