For weeks leading up to his birthday, Cameron had to race to the calendar each day and mark off the previous day. To say he was excited for his birthday is an understatement! He wanted to take cookies to church the Sunday before, scouts the Monday before, science club the Wednesday before, scouts the night before, and his favorite Loft House cookies to class the day of his birthday...I told him we were only taking cookies to his class.
When he saw Becca's bunny cake, he told me we could do a Pikachu cake the same way, and the idea for his cake was born!
Once I was done decorating the cake, we loaded up and went to Lazer Zone. The kids played arcade games, mini golfed and we ate pizza. Then we came home and sang to Cameron so he could blow out the candles.
He opened presents next and got lots of Pokemon goodies and building toys.
He was too busy building his Lego tank to even touch his cake, and we were up until 10 building it, but it was so fun seeing his happy smile!
Happy birthday Cameron! Now you are in the double digits and can never go back...stop growing up so fast!
