We threw him a birthday party on the 12th at a local coffee house that has a huge back room to rent. He had 7 friends come (some from church, some from school), and they had a Nerf war for the entire time. They even had a Hunger Games style round where they made a cornucopia out of chairs, piled the Nerf guns on them, and had to run to try to get the most weapons/ammo. The younger kids were not impressed, but the older kids loved it. We had pizza, cheese balls, fruit, brownies, cupcakes, and ice cream. He got over $60 in gifts and had Dale take him to Walmart the next day to buy more Nerf type equipment.
His birthday was on a Sunday, and because of General Conference it was fast Sunday. He chose to fast two weeks before. After church I got some pictures of my handsome boy in his new suit...
