Kimball turns 8! And gets baptized!

Our handsome, smart, funny, sassy boy turned 8 recently. It's hard to believe Kimball has been part of our family for over 8 years now, though it also feels like he's always been with us. I delivered donuts to his class to celebrate and he said it was the best day ever! The kids treated him like a celebrity and gave him all sorts of gifts from money to the bones from their school lunches (drumsticks).

For his birthday he chose to go to Lazer Zone as a family. We got a deal with lazer tag, pizza, soda and 40 tokens for only $30. No one else was playing lazer tag, so we had the arena to ourselves.

When we got home we sang Happy Birthday with mint chocolate chip brownies (which I sadly burned!).

Then Kimball opened presents. He got Star Wars Legos, a book light, a Star Wars hoodie, and a joke book among other things.
Then, on the 17ths, my parents and brother came to town, as well as Becky B and her kids to celebrate Kimball's baptism with us. That night we had lasagna and went to the park so Becky could take family pictures for us.

The 18th was Kimball's baptism. He has been so excited for this day for so long! We combined with another boy in our ward and it was wonderful. Dale baptized Kimball and confirmed him, and Grandma Bundy spoke about the Holy Ghost.
After the baptismal service, we went to Dale's work and had a BBQ with all of our family that came. It was such a wonderful experience to see Kimball make this choice and felt completely natural to reach this milestone. We are so proud of the young man Kimball is becoming. He has such a profound understanding of the Gospel and of our Heavenly Father.
