November 2020

The presidential election finally came in early November. President Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden and proceeded to throw a lengthy temper tantrum claiming fraud/cheating/etc.

Lily finally lost all 4 teeth that had been loose for ages. She continued to advance in tumbling and her handstand really improved. She gets so disappointed every time she gets hurt and exclaims "I just wish I could have one day without getting hurt!" I showed her a video of someone doing an aerial and she decided to just do them on the trampoline. She can't quite do it, but made a very impressive attempt!

August 2019

Hooray for the end of summer! The kids actually did pretty well getting along until the last few weeks...then everyone was just ready for different company I guess.

January 2015

I always do a mini-freak-out at the end of January because we are already 1/12th of the way back to Christmas! Once we got home from Albuquerque, we only had a few days until school started again.
Cameron lost his third tooth since Christmas and has the cutest gap-toothed smile!

I chopped off 8 inches of hair...so much easier!
Lily turned 6 months old and started eating solids. The boys were counting down the days until she could finally have real food, and not just Mom's milk.

We finally raked some of our leaves and the boys had a blast playing in them.

It snowed! Then it melted...
and Kimball was the Star Student at school.

Duke also ran away for the first time one night. We didn't tell the boys because we didn't want to ruin their day at school, and thankfully Duke came back the next day. He must have just chased a cat or something and laid down to sleep for the night. We missed him and were so glad to have him home.

Albuquerque New Year

We were able to go to Albuquerque to spend New Year's with my family. It was the first time most of my siblings had met Lily.

All three kids were great on the drive; we only had to stop one extra time to feed Lily both ways.
We got to Albuquerque on Monday just in time to see OU bomb their bowl game.

On Tuesday Dale and I got to go to the temple for the first time since Lily was born. That night we went to see the River of Lights. It was frigid and windy and we were glad that Lily stayed at the house with Grandpa.
My cheeks got wind burned!

Wednesday morning Dale, my sister and my mom went skiing up in Santa Fe. Dale came back sore but had lots of fun. It was awesome. Cameron also lost a tooth. He missed singing the song "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" by less than a week! He was very worried that since the tooth fairy had been in Oklahoma a week previously, that she wouldn't make it to New Mexico in time. Fortunately she did.
We celebrated New Year's eve that night and both boys made it past midnight.

Dale and I stole away on Thursday for a date to Olive Garden. Friday morning we left early and drove to Norman. We spent a few hours there with Dale's brother and drove home late that night.
Our car was packed to the hilt! My brother gave Lily a giant stuffed lobo for Christmas and he gave us an Xbox 360.

All in all, we had a lot of fun. It was crowded but we got to spend lots of time with family, catch up, play board games, etc.

February 2014

Each month our boys look forward to the Home Depot Kids Workshops. I love them because they're free and the boys get to make/keep a fun little craft. In Feb they made race cars and we perused the aisles afterwards.
We got even more snow! I am definitely ready for spring...we went out and played in the snow for a bit, but then later that day the boys both had fevers.

Cameron lost his first tooth! I am a bit heart-broken that he lost it so early, but he is so proud of that missing tooth.

I had to go up to OKC for a drs appointment so I went to the temple while up there.
Oklahoma is always windy which means it's always a kite-flying day. We finally took the kites the boys got for Christmas and I was shocked how well they flew.
Kimball was the Star Student at his school! He was so excited and made sure to invite us all to his assembly.
Kimball has discovered the joys of texting and often begs to borrow my phone so he can send a text to Grandma. He always makes sure to include a picture. I can't believe how adept my children are at using my phone...Kimball recently taught me a cool feature of my phone that I had no idea existed.
We also found out that we are having a baby girl! That night we went to the local park to enjoy the last of the warmth before another crazy winter storm hit us on March 1st.
And that's February in a wrap :)
