Our sweet little girl, you are growing up too fast!

Lily at 3 months

When people meet Lily or spend any time around her, they can't help commenting on what a good/easy baby she is, and it's absolutely true! She is usually so content to just sit in our arms or smile up at us from our laps. She doesn't cry much unless she has gas (which isn't very often unless I eat broccoli or beans). Everyone says she looks just like a baby doll. Lily is becoming more alert, following us with her eyes as we walk around the room she's in.

Kimball and Cameron are thrilled that she smiles at them now and they love to put words in her mouth when she makes random noises.

Sadly Lily got her first cold and she often wakes up too congested. She is now ticklish under her arms and on her ribs. Lily sucks her thumb all the time and uses it to soothe herself back to sleep. The changing table is still one of her favorite spots, as she loves to have a clean diaper...usually if she's fussy, all we have to do is lie her down on the changing table and she will suddenly be all smiles! We are finishing the last of our size 1 diapers and she is ready for size 2 diapers.

Lately, around 8:00 she decides it's time for bed and just wants to go to sleep. I will put her in her crib and she will fuss for a few minutes until she falls asleep. We just switched her out of the bassinet to her crib and it was much harder on me than it was for her :(. Seriously, she is such a wonderful baby! I keep telling her to stop growing up so fast but she just won't listen...this time is going by in a blur.
