On the 29th of December the Ferrell's headed to Ada. They dropped their kids off and left for an anniversary together. The kids all did well, and it was probably less chaotic since our boys were at Scout camp.
On the 31st, we celebrated New Year's by playing games, eating lots of food, and letting the kids stay up and make LOTS OF NOISE when the clock struck midnight...actually we were a little late because it took longer than expected to pour sparkling apple cider out for everyone.
We also had the kids do a white elephant gift exchange which included 3 pogo "sticks" that squeak when you hop on them.
We played more games, had church at home (except Dale who was running the broadcast for our ward), played more games, and then the Ferrell's headed home. Happy New Year!!!
