We got home from Albuquerque on the 23rd of December. We unpacked the van and started doing laundry. On the 24th, we set up Dale's early Christmas present...an inflatable t-rex!
We also made/decorated cookies for Santa...
We had our traditional Christmas Eve feast with ham, potatoes, etc then we opened Christmas Eve jammies and drove around Ada to look at lights...When we got home (amazingly the girls were still awake), we got the kids to bed and tucked in so Santa could come. Thankfully we had wrapped most present before-hand so there wasn't too much to do.
The next morning the kids all slept in past 8:00 even though we had said they could get up as early as 7:00. We started with stockings and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
Then it was time for presents. The girls enjoyed taking their time and admiring their gifts while the boys wanted to cruise through opening them.
The rest of the day was spent enjoying gifts, cleaning up wrapping paper, eating left-overs and just chilling. Merry Christmas!
