Bundys in Oklahoma

Since Kimball was getting ordained as a teacher and Cameron as a deacon at the beginning of this year, my parents and brother Rob came out for a visit. They pulled in on January 3rd just a few hours after the Ferrells left!

After the ordination

My dad was teaching remotely so each day after Dale left for work, Dad would set up at the desk in our room. Kimball, Cameron and Lily started their second semester that week so they did school in the living room. Rob was set up in the library and Becca roamed from room to room.

Becca warmed up to Dad much quicker this time and loved having him read her stories each day.

That Tuesday we set up via Zoom so our Bishop and various family could join us while Kimball and Cameron were ordained (thanks to Corona Virus). It was definitely different than having them ordained at church, but it was neat to be able to include loved ones in other states.

Becca and Grandma went on a few walks, but otherwise we stayed mostly at home. Grandma and Grandpa even tried out Kimball's hoverboard!

It was fun seeing my parents so soon after we were in Albuquerque because the kids didn't need any time to warm up to them. They were here until Saturday the 9th, and only left behind 3 things when they headed home :).

We had originally planned for them to come out the 10th of January but Mom and Dad felt like the week before would work better for Dad's school. Thankfully they did because the next week Dad had a gall bladder attack and was in the hospital for over a week...which would have been much more stressful if he had been stuck in Oklahoma for all of that!

Thanks for coming!
