- January 2020 Kimball and Cameron learn about Covid-19 in China from CNN 10 at school. Cameron was pretty worried but I told him it's on the other side of the world.
- March 12 unknowingly it's Dale's last day at the office and the kids' last day at school before everything shuts down
- March 13 our first day of spring break and quarantine. Everyone was told we should try to hunker down for two weeks.
- All toilet paper and hand sanitizer is gone from stores. People are hoarding it and selling it for ridiculous prices.
- Church is cancelled for the foreseeable future, we start having Sacrament meeting at home
- March 14-17 we are in Texas helping the Ferrells move in from Utah. We quarantine at their house with adults only going to stores.
- March 16 School board of education in Oklahoma cancels schools throughout the state until 4/6
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is hoarded and healthcare workers are forced to reuse masks, other PPE
- March 23 the first positive case of Corona Virus is reported in Pontotoc County
- March 24 OK Governor Stitt closes all non-essential businesses
- Dale's office has been closed since the 12th. Courts are closed.
- April 3 by this point all sports have been cancelled (March Madness, major teams, college, lower level), everyone is told to social distance by staying at least 6 feet away from others, and all local park playgrounds are closed.
- April 6 Oklahoma schools start distance learning. The rest of the school year is cancelled (graduations, events, plays, concerts).
- April 13 first death from Corona Virus in Pontotoc County
- April 16 we bought gas for 99 cents/gallon
- Dale's firm gets one of the last loans for small businesses before the funds are bled dry. This allows them to stay open and continue paying employees.
- April 20 crude oil is valued at -$37/barrel. Crops are being wasted because the farmers who sell to big businesses have no one to sell to with everything closed.
- City of Ada orders masks to be worn
- April 24 Oklahoma allows the first phase of businesses to reopen (salons, non-emergent healthcare...)
- May 4 Dale goes to work at the office. The office has protocols in place for wearing masks, etc.
- City of Ada rescinds their mask order because so many people threw fits about it.
- May 6 we found out Kimball's Scout camp was cancelled. Summer plans such as a trip to Washington DC for our family are definitely cancelled.
- May 13 Neighborhood kids start coming to our house again. Apparently parents in our neighborhood felt it was ok after social distancing since March
- May 31 Riots/protests erupt nationwide over police brutality (Black Lives Matter)
- Oklahoma Board of Education approves school on Saturdays for districts who want to implement it for the coming school year.
- June 1 playgrounds reopen in Ada
- June 8 pools open in Ada
- June 15th Dale's assistant reports she was exposed to Corona Virus. The entire office goes into quarantine and isn't allowed at the courthouse until she has a negative test result.
- June 18th our family goes into strict quarantine again for two weeks. The test results took forever to come back negative.
- The Ronald Dee Rex Reunion is cancelled, as are our plans to possibly go out to Utah. Utah is a hotspot for Corona Virus. Later the RRRex Reunion is also cancelled.
- Grandma Bundy was planning to come out to visit and take the boys to New Mexico for a couple weeks but New Mexico places more quarantine and mask orders in place making it too stressful/difficult for her to come. These plans are cancelled too.
- July 12 Corona Virus is surging throughout the nation. Florida had over 15,000 new cases in one day. Ada has about 70 by this point and hasn't seen a huge surge yet.
- July 14 we enroll in an online charter school for the upcoming school year
- Dale's cousin David shares that he is hospitalized in Corona Virus. He's the first person who has it that we personally know.
- July 20 Ada enacts a new mask order saying everyone has to wear masks in public. Walmart says everyone has to wear a mask in their stores nationwide.
- July 22 the boys finally have dentist appointments after being rescheduled because of Corona. Waiting rooms are closed in most offices. We are instructed to stay in the car, call when we're there and send the boys in when their hygienists are ready for them.
- July 26 Ponototoc County has 124 positive Corona Virus cases and 2 deaths (the deaths have remained the same for months)
- End of July we interview for our temple recommends via phone call to both Bishop and stake presidency.
- August 26 Kimball comes down with a fever. Dale starts working from home again. Kimball tests negative for Corona Virus, but has a fever/headache for 5 days.
- End of August, OKC temple opens to Phase 2 so missionaries can take out endowments. Still not open to proxy ordinances.
- In December 2020, we quarantined for 2 weeks so we could go visit Grandpa and Grandma Bundy in New Mexico. It was the first time we had seen them in over a year.
- The Covid vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) start to be distributed. Medical workers and elderly are higher on the list and start getting the first dose. A second dose is required 3 weeks later.
- January 5, 2021 Kimball and Cameron are ordained as teacher and deacon in our home. Our Bishop joined us via a video call.
- March 28, 2021 we were allowed to sing in church for the first time since COVID started. We still had to wear masks.
- March 31, 2021 Dale and Judy both got their second dose of the Covid Vaccine Moderna. We were both hit with fevers, aches and fatigue the day after. After 2 weeks, we will both have immunity!
- May 2, 2021 we returned to 2 hour church. First time for Becca in primary ever.
- May 16, 2021 No longer required to wear masks at church if vaccinated. The kids still had to wear masks.
- May 17, 2021 City of Ada removes mask mandate. Stores take down signs indicating masks are required and life quickly seems to be returning to normal. High schools are able to hold graduation and prom.

I've been keeping a timeline of events related to Corona Virus that have affected our family over the last several months...of course the effects of this pandemic will go on and on for who knows how long but here's what I have:
