June 2020

June felt exactly like the movie Groundhog Day. Everything was still pretty much cancelled and we were home a lot.

We got to pick up lunches from Lily's school throughout the month which was a big blessing for us. Lily also started back to tumbling and struggled being around others at first after being isolated with just our family for so long. She loves riding her bike!

The pools were open so we went to a couple of the family swim nights which were wonderfully empty.

We've been trying to have game night with the boys on Thursday nights after the girls are in bed. We're definitely better some weeks than others.

We had the missionaries over finally and ate on the back deck with them.

We tried to spoil Dale for Father's Day. I bought him a suit and it still hasn't been made yet thanks to Corona Virus.
Dale and I celebrated 14 years of marriage! We celebrated by getting take-out Chinese and eating at Dale's office on the back patio. Kimball baby-sat for us.

Judy started tearing apart the laundry room. I tore off wall paper, textured and painted the walls and we replaced the blinds so it doesn't look like the 70's anymore in there. Kimball is still baffled that I put so much work into a room that no one but us ever sees.

I bought a pool for the kids which they hardly used, so frogs or toads decided to lay eggs in there and we suddenly had hundreds of tadpoles! We fished out most of them and put them in a nearby pond. The rest we kept for observation in a small kiddie pool on the deck.
The kids have spent plenty of time on the trampoline and swing set. Kimball loves having the sprinkler going on the trampoline. Lily and Becca love parading around with "capes".
Poor Shadow got snagged on his kennel and had to have staples put in. It was awful making him wear the cone, and we tried a pool noodle until he got that off. He now hates the vet :(
Kimball and Cameron got light saber toys with money they earned...which broke not long after...
The Ferrells also came up to visit...I just didn't get many pictures. We mostly hung around our house, because of Corona!
