March 2020

Who would've known how much our lives would change from the beginning of March to the end?! The beginning of March was school, work, church, shopping...normal life...by March 13th we entered a world of quarantine which got more and more "strict" throughout the month.

Dale came home sick from work on the 12th and didn't go back...first because of spring break, then because of quarantine. He set up a home office in our bedroom with a table borrowed from work. Thankfully we have been blessed with a steady income and he has had new cases since all of this started.

Judy got to go to Lily's school to play violin for all the kindergartners for letter V week. It was hard to suddenly have everyone home, all the time. My steps have significantly diminished because there's no where to go. I ran on adrenaline for the first week or so. It was especially hard because the kids were all struggling to sleep which meant my sleep was getting interrupted constantly.

Kimball had band contest, piano lessons, piano contest at ECU...then it was time for spring break/the beginning of Corona Virus quarantine. Once we got home from the Ferrells, he spent most of his time reading...and reading...and reading. Thank goodness our library has e-books available because he read through all of our books he was interested in, and the library was closed.
Cameron turned 11! He and Lily have been the best of friends during this quarantine, playing together for hours on end. He's built lots of Legos and played lots of Minecraft. He's made bread and stove-top popcorn.

Lily suddenly had to stop going to tumbling and school and it was a hard transition. For many, many nights she ended up in our bed and had trouble sleeping. But, she has taken all of these changes like a champ and seems to understand that we're all just waiting for Corona Virus to go away.

Becca loved having so many playmates all the time, but stopped getting naps with everyone home so much. She and Lily have played lots of Paw Patrol and Littlest Pet Shops.
