We have entered the world of teenagers in our house!
Kimball asked for a death star cake. His birthday was spent in Corona Virus quarantine so we were pretty limited what we could do.
The main benefit was that he didn't have school, and Dale was working at home so we could celebrate whenever we wanted to...which was basically as soon as the cake was done.
That morning I made him crepes for breakfast, tuna casserole for lunch and lasagna for dinner...this teen loves his lasagna!
We sang, he blew out the candles/death ray,
opened presents...
and worked on the "Lego" tank we ordered from China...miraculously it got here in time despite all of the Corona Virus chaos.
Some of his other gifts didn't make it in time :(. But, now that he's 13, he can finally watch PG-13 movies, so that night we sent the other kids to bed and watched Captain America. It was pretty fun watching it with someone who hadn't seen it before.
