Cameron turns 11!

Cameron was our first kid to celebrate a birthday in quarantine. We had planned to have the Ferrells come celebrate with us, but cities everywhere were placed on "shelter at home" orders due to Corona Virus, so we decided it was best to not have them come.

Since we had no other plans/commitments (thanks quarantine), we sang Happy Birthday and opened presents as soon as I was done decorating his Minecraft cake...

Cameron designed the cake using Minecraft Legos he already had.

The one big present he wanted was the Eevee Mega Construx set, which thankfully arrived on time despite shipping being questionable with the virus.
He also got a Baby Yoda shirt, money from Grandpa and Grandma Rex, a bow/arrow set from Grandma and Grandpa Bundy (which he accidentally opened at Christmas time...), a gumball dispenser, and a book.

That afternoon we went out to the Niblett's property to try to fish, but it was too windy and the water level was too high to have any success. Cameron also finally got to shoot the air soft gun he bought for $5 at the county fair a few years ago but wasn't quite mature enough to handle until now. The kids jumped on hay bales and played in the creek before we came home to eat dinner.
We had cowboy delight for dinner, and sherbet with cake.

I hate that we were so limited in how we could celebrate Cameron's birthday this year, but I am so grateful that Cameron is part of our family and that we get to celebrate having him in our family. It wouldn't be the same without him! Happy Birthday Cameron, and may this be your best year yet!
