April 2019

After waiting for two-ish years, the Oklahoma City temple was finally finished! We got to go to the open house and it was beautiful!
Sadly, Cameron was sick and threw up in the baptistry...fortunately he threw up in the one room with tile. But he didn't get to see much of the temple and wasn't in much of a mood to appreciate it.

Kimball and I got to go again that Saturday to put booties on the people going into the temple. We were there for 4 hours, and we both enjoyed it. Kimball said he wishes he could help again.
Dale and Kimball got to go on the stake father/son campout. Poor Cameron was still sick and stuck at home.
Kimball loves to give us daily updates of awesome plays he made in basketball or football before school or during recess. He got to volunteer at the Hamby Easter egg hunt. He also left for Camp Goddard at the end of April for a week-long science camp with the other 6th graders. He got to do archery, play on the water trampoline, go on walks and said the food was fantastic. He also got to go to his first priesthood session of General Conference with Dale! And, he turned 12!
Cameron lost a tooth during the Easter egg hunt at the Kings. He was so lucky because he got visited by the tooth fairy and Easter bunny in the same night. During priesthood session of General Conference, I took the kids to meet up with the Kings at McDonalds. Cameron was so sweet to help Becca up the stairs in the playplace and declared himself in charge of the baby club. He was sick for several days and took a few more days after to recover.
Lily can reach the bathroom faucet on her tippy-toes without a stool! She doesn't want to be baby-sat and often tries to talk me into leaving her home alone when I have to pick the boys up from something. One day she told me "Mom guess what?! Lemonade is yellow, and my pee is yellow!" This school year she has become a master at pumping on swings...I can't believe how high she can go, and she can swing for ages. Daily she has to stop while we're out and about to pick me flowers. She got to bring home two chicks from school and told me the next morning she was ready for them to go back to school so she wouldn't have to feed them anymore.
Becca loves the song "Baby Shark" and started calling me "Mama Doo Doo"...especially in public. She's trying to dress herself more, and can put some shoes on by herself. She won't wear anything with Elsa on it, but loves anything with Anna from Frozen. She hates loud noises like vacuums or automatic hand dryers in bathrooms. She can now count to 10 and loves to hold Lily's hand. She has started showing some interest in potty training and will often tell me when she's peed or pooped in her diaper...I'm just not quite ready to deal with potty training.
I (Judy) ended up getting a crown on an old filling. We celebrated Easter. Spring came and so did the rain.
