Hooray for the cooler weather and the fall fun which passes all too quickly!

During October,
Dale's cousin Heather came down to Ada for an evening and we loved catching up with her. Dale got a new, new assistant, and he went to Missouri with Kimball for
fall break.
Judy took care of sick kids, helped with school projects, and had no cavities at a dentist appointment.

Kimball won first place in the "Tacky Tourist" category for Red Ribbon week at school. He's worried about getting married and said he wasn't sure which is worse...dating lots (because you failed at so many dates without getting married) or getting married to the first person you date (because you failed at getting people to like you and go out with you). He's very admiring of my reverse psychology techniques I often have to employ on Lily, and I can only hope he's not picking up too quickly on them...

Cameron joined Pack 13 in Cub Scouts and is loving it! He started drawing comics to make a comic book, and had the privilege of doing announcements over the intercom at school. He's in a very literal stage of life, and often needs to correct Lily if she gets something wrong...but he's also experimenting a lot in teasing and telling jokes.

Lily told us frequently "never give up! Perseverance!" One day, when we drove back into town, she said "my gosh this place is so uncomfortable." When Dale put her to bed one night, she said she saw monsters in her eyes when she closed them, and sometimes there were Jedis. Mornings have been a struggle if she has to go to school, because she's so picky about how her clothes sit on her body...especially shoes. It's normal to have her crying when she gets to school, and her teacher is so wonderful to just swoop her up.

Becca got in her 2 year old molars. She also had a cough. When she wants me to do something for her she says "doh!" (go). She started saying "mommy" instead of just "mama", and when she gets hurt, she says "ow". She's at the perfect height to bonk her head on the table almost daily, and Duke's tail whips her neck if he gets too excited near her.
And we celebrated
Halloween!
