March 2018

March came in like a lion, and stayed that way the whole month. The boys had their district Pinewood Derby where Kimball got 4th and qualified for the regional race, and Cameron placed 6th (though he should have placed higher due to unfair racing practices...)...

Dale had the first of several depositions for one case, which took us down to Irving, TX for the first day of spring break.
Judy got to take family pictures for some friends before their daughter left for a mission. A girl in our ward died, and I got to play piano at the funeral. It was the biggest group I had played for, but I was grateful for the chance to play for her.

Kimball got kidnapped by Grandpa and Grandma Bundy who showed up dressed as pirates. One day we were at the library, and as he walked up to the check-out desk, he started loudly singing "I like big books and I cannot lie!" Every adult within hearing distance started laughing and he couldn't understand what was so funny.
Cameron turned 9. One day when I asked what his favorite part of the day was, he responded "hanging out with you". He is obsessed with building robots and wants to build one that can battle, vacuum and do the dishes.
Lily started writing her name with help. One day she told me "I need some candy so I don't wun out of en-o-gy."

Becca got super sick over spring break with a fever for several days. Once her fever broke, she was super cranky and just wanted to be held for days on end. It was a huge relief she was happy again. She now plays peek-a-boo, knows where her belly is, and will look at any member of our family if I ask where they are (where's Lily?). She is terrified of any animal except Duke and will scream if approached by anything, including squirrels at the park.
Grandma and Grandpa Bundy and Uncle Rob were here for almost a week. They got to help with Cameron's birthday party, watched the girls so I could go to various doctor's appointments and the funeral, and played with the kids.

What a busy, fun month!
