Happy Birthday to our favorite 9 year old in the whole world! You are so full of joy and passion, and you certainly keep us on our toes.
Cameron's birthday was on Wednesday, so we celebrated as a family before Cub Scouts. Grandma & Grandpa Bundy and Uncle Robert were here as well. We took Cameron's favorite Loft House cookies into his class to share.
For dinner we had cowboy delight, and then it was time for cake and presents. He got Stik Bot weapons, a camping chair, Mario 8 for the Wii, a fishing rod and a mini Lego type Red Baron from Grandma & Grandpa, and Legos from Uncle Nate & Aunt Kelsey.
We had a birthday party for his friends the next day. Cameron wanted to have a Nerf war, and the church was the perfect place to have it. There were around 14 kids there and it was loud! But, they entertained themselves for the most part by shooting each other. No one even lost an eye.
I had them make their own Nerf guns out of PVC pipes and balloons which were a huge hit, and a perfect party favor. Then we had the war and after a while we ate pizza, cake and ice cream.
My voice was gone by the end, but the kids had fun, and my parents helped out (especially with the clean up afterwards). Cameron got some Nerf guns at his party, and some gift cards/money which he used to buy 3 huge Nerf guns the next day...
Happy birthday, and may this year be simply wonderful for you, Cameron!
