Becca at 6 months old!

Becca Jean,
How has it already been 1/2 a year since you joined our family?! And yet, how has it only been 1/2 a year?!

This past month has brought about so many changes for you. You went from sitting in the "tripod" pose to being able to sit up all on your own!

You started eating "solid" food and you were a pro. You did so well eating oatmeal, and you later loved carrots.

You went in a swing for the first time...

and you were a champ on your first camping trip! On this trip you got 4 more teeth and you were still a very happy, content baby. You didn't mind being passed around to meet all of your relatives, and you slept so well in the 50 degree temperatures. However, you hated the

Grandpa Bundy pointed out that you are a lot like an armadillo. You like to just curl up into a ball. Even when you're buckled in your car seat, you love to eat your toes. We can't figure out how you're flexible enough to do this!

Whenever you can, you love to drag your fingernails on whatever is close enough to reach; whether it's the couch, a table, or your sheet as you're falling asleep. You are such a snuggly girl, and love being held. We all adore you so!
