August 2022

One of the most exciting events during August was Lily’s baptism! We had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa Bundy, Uncle Rob, Grandma and Grandpa Rex, the Ferrells and Greg and Dana’s family.

The girls loved getting stories read to them frequently!

Kimball had band camp for 2 weeks. They had most of the first movement of the show finished. One day they had a “drill off” and Kimball got 6th out of the whole band! He was the only sophomore that made it that far. He started his sophomore year and loves being on the high school campus (freshman stay at the junior high campus). He's doing band and the aviation program.

Cameron has bigger feet than Judy now…maybe a big growth spurt is in his future. He wanted to make cookies and after a short time he realized he had put the wrong ingredients in…he put in 3 cups of salt instead of sugar. We had to scrap that batch and start again. But, the cookies were delicious when they were done! He started 8th grade and is taking performing arts, stem, and the other core classes.

Becca lost a tooth and said “Now it’s hard to make a snake sound!” She loves kindergarten and riding the bus. She does not love having to wake up so early for school. Her favorite recess activities are chasing other kids making dragon sounds.

Dale helped the Ferrells drive the moving truck and van out to South Carolina. He got to baptize and confirm Lily. He also moved into a different, bigger office at work.

Lily loved getting baptized. She got to go to a friend’s birthday party and has rocked 3rd grade so far. She loves koalas with a passion. She got to go with some friends to the county fair, and got student of the week.

For the first time since before Lily was born, all 4 kids are at school all day. They are at 4 different schools because Ada has a grade center system where each school building only has 2-3 grades in it. After a couple weeks of silence, Judy started working part time at the law firm. Dale and Judy even show up matching sometimes at work.
