Much of September was the daily grind of school, work, kids' activities, and church.
Kimball told me one day "apparently I was too philosophical for my teacher today." He earned a few merit badges at his Boy Scout court of honor. Marching season brought about many football games and rehearsals. He decided very last minute to go to homecoming and was lucky to still be able to buy a ticket.
Cameron got stepped on by Becca's dress up shoes and exclaimed "those things are killers!" He ranked up in Boy Scouts and earned a few merit badges. He went on a campout with scouts, and made the girls mini s'mores over a candle.
Lily said "when I start wearing deodorant, I know exactly what I want it to smell like...donuts!" She loved selling chocolates for her school and started Girl Scouts with Judy as one of her troop leaders.
Becca gets of the bus everyday with a funny limp because she insists on bringing home rocks, shells and notes in her boots. Kindergarten wears her out and we often find her asleep in random places. We bought a smoker which has led to Dale making many yummy things in it! Dale took Kimball up to OU Band Day where Kimball got to perform with the OU marching band.
Judy got to go see "Where the Crawdads Sing" with some friends, then she and Cameron went to see Shrek at the community theater. After years of trying to go, she finally made it to the Amish Auction with Debra.
