Cameron went to art camp and had a blast. He created so many amazing works of art. Both boys also went to Stake Young Men’s camp. Cameron got stung several times by a wasp and his arm swelled up huge! He had to miss out on some of the boating fun.
One day, he was taking forever to eat and Dale said “I want to see you swallow.” Without missing a beat, Kimball says from the other room “as African or a European swallow?”
Becca and Lily loved going to the library for all their programs. This was the first year the boys had no interest in it. Becca had a few follow-up appointments after her scare in TX, and everything looked good. She stopped taking some medication and we haven’t had any issues since. We were talking about Colorado, and Becca said “Colorado? It should look like a dog” (collar-a-do). She also said “I like BYU more than OU because it has a B.” “If I had one million corn dogs…I would explode.” She also says “how dare you!” If we say or do something she doesn’t like. “When I grow up, I’m changing my name to Frosty Bite.” If I ask her to do something, she says “it’s my pleasure to help.”
After we got home from Texas, we found a box of Baked Cheetos on our doorstep. After hearing how much Becca loved them at the hospital in TX, my friend Christina sent her all the Cheetos she could want!
We had our 15 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by doing sealings at the OKC temple and getting dinner/ice cream afterwards. This was the first time we had gone to the temple since before Covid.
Kimball went to Boy Scout camp. He earned a few merit badges and came home wanting to work there next summer. He loves to listen to the band “Imagine Dragons” and plays along to their music on the piano as often as he can. He loves to quip with “Dobviously!”Dale’s beard got a bit out of control…he also had several cases in Seminole and drove out there several times. When he was making dinner with Kimball, I was taking a nap in our room, only to wake up to him waving his hands in front of my face exclaiming “I’ve got too much thyme on my hands!”
We got a pool pass for the summer and went as often as we could.
After seeing how much Cameron loved art camp, Lily decided she wanted to do art camp too, and she loved it! She loves swimming and can’t get enough of the pool!
