Cameron turns 12!

 How is Cameron already 12?!He's been eagerly anticipating his birthday and had endless requests of presents he was hoping for...driving me a little crazy. But, we're excited to celebrate this boy who brings us so much joy and happiness.

My parents and brother were here the week before for Dad's spring break, and they had to leave the morning of Cameron's birthday to get home for work the next day. On Saturday Cameron got to open his gift from them which was a marble maze toy. 

On Sunday we got up to see off Grandma and Grandpa, then headed off to church. It's so fun to watch Cameron pass the sacrament, and to see how he works so hard to be reverent while doing so. 

When we got home, I got to work decorating his cake. No kids were allowed in the kitchen while I did it. Cameron cuddled with Ruckus the puppy while he waited and fell asleep! 

After the cake was done, Cameron said "now that's just adorable!" 

We sang, he blew out the candles and opened gifts. 

Heavy, heavy hangover your poor head

Most of the night was spent building Legos and playing with his new things. Of course we had to have Cowboy Delight for dinner, and his cake was strawberry, accompanied by sherbet.
