Thanksgiving

Since the boys were supposed to be going on a camp out over Christmas break, we decided to head to Albuquerque for Thanksgiving.

We left on Monday the 25th after Dale taught his class at ECU (really, he showed up and so few students showed up that he gave them a bonus grade and sent every one home). The drive went pretty well, other than a ton of potty stops. When we got to my parents' house, we had dinner, and then discovered that Kimball was sick with a fever.

On Tuesday we were supposed to go do baptisms at the temple, but since Kimball wasn't feeling well, we mostly rested. We did some shopping and I helped Mom get ready for a craft fair.

Wednesday was more shopping, cooking some food for Thanksgiving day, and the Natural History Museum.
It started to snow that night...
Thursday was Thanksgiving which meant lots of yummy food and hanging out at the house. We woke up to a ton of snow! I hadn't packed snow clothes, but that didn't stop the kids from spending hours outside in the snow...especially the girls!

On Friday we did some black Friday shopping. laundry, packing, and hanging out. The boys love asking Grandma to tell them stories at bed time, and she can't help going on for ages with story after story!
Saturday morning we loaded up and drove home. It was a fun week with lots of Grandpa cuddles (for the girls), Minecraft playing (for the boys), and family time.
Happy Thanksgiving!
