We are in holiday mode now with more and more happening each week.
Dale celebrated his birthday. He enjoyed cheering on the Sooners and Cougars in their football games. On our Thanksgiving trip to Albuquerque, he enjoyed lots of time to relax and read his book. He and the other partners at his firm got to spend some time at Top Golf in OKC.
Judy got to hold a kangaroo at one of the boys' scout nights. She also got to take family and senior pictures for some friends. She finished up baby-sitting a little boy.
The boys went to a merit badge fair at OU. They also had school cancelled one day because of a thread the schools received. Kimball had a jazz workshop on one of the days he was out of school. He auditioned for all-state for the first time. At a scout event he got to hold a chinchilla and kangaroo.
We got to join Cameron for his school's Thanksgiving lunch. He had a blast with Kimball at their Troop's field trip to the trampoline park in Ardmore. At a scout event, he got to hold snakes and a kangaroo.
Lily had a Thanksgiving program at school and was a fantastic turkey. We especially loved her line: "gobble, gobble, gobble!". If we don't have Frosted Flakes type cereal, she loves eating lunch meat and cheese for breakfast. Her favorite game is "zombie apocalypse" with Cameron. They will spend ages outside playing it!
Becca also loves pretending she's a zombie and walks around saying "bwains!" (brains). She is quite proud of getting herself dressed many days and especially loves it when her clothes have pockets!
