February 2019

How are we already 1/6 of the way through this year?! The first part of the year always seems to fly by.
The Lego temple we built for FHE

Dale got to take Lily to the city father/daughter dance. Lily was so excited to dress up and they both had a great time.

Judy de-junked the house in preparation for our church freecycle. She converted one of the boys' dressers into shelves for the girls and acted as chief taxi driver for all of the activities our kids are in now. She got to play violin in Lily's class for letter V week on Valentine's Day, then stay and help paint the girls' nails for their manners party.
Kimball got to go to Top Shot in Cookson, OK with Boy Scouts. He shot/threw a sling shot, bow/arrow, tomahawk, knife, 22 cal rifle, shotgun. It was incredibly cold so he wore lots of layers the whole time. He had his first piano competition at Ada First Baptist church and got superior on it. He started robotics club at school. Amazingly, he still has some Halloween candy stashed in his room somewhere! His style lately consists of long, shaggy hair and shorts/hoodies in the cold weather.
Cameron lost a tooth at school but forgot to bring it home. When he did, the tooth fairy wasn't informed and didn't show up for several days which made him very sad. He sold some chocolate for school and started in science club which he says is awesome! He was very active in trading Pokemon cards at school but sadly some of his favorites were stolen. He had his second Pinewood Derby, but his car wasn't as fast as last year and he didn't place in his pack.

Lily hates fruit snacks because they get stuck in her teeth. She's been dancing a lot and asking us what everyone's full name is frequently. She was so excited to have a manners party at school on Valentine's Day where everyone dressed up and had a fancy lunch. She got a virus and missed almost an entire week of school...fever, no appetite, lethargic.
Becca turned 2! She loves singing the "Baby Shark" song, has learned most colors, says O-tay (OK), and loves to build Duplo towers. She also got sick for a week and just wanted to be held. She didn't want any food and scared us a few times because she started getting dehydrated and refused to eat or drink. Thankfully she's back to being happy and eating again.
