Judy's parents and brother Robert were in Dallas for Memorial Day, so we drove down. We left around 8 that morning and got to the Children's Aquarium around 11:00.
Compared to other museums in Dallas, it was a good price, but a lot smaller than other aquariums we had been to. Still, the turtles and petting the stingrays were especially fun.
After the aquarium, we went to Pioneer Plaza for a picnic lunch. Judy's mom somehow brought almost everything on the plane instead of buying the food in Dallas, and there wasn't really anywhere to eat, but the boys loved climbing on the statues and it's pretty cool to see so many longhorns.
We quickly went to the JFK Memorial since no one but Judy had been there.
Then we went to their hotel for a swim! We had fun taking selfies underwater...though it's a lot harder than you would think!
We sang happy birthday to Robert and had some chocolate cake (which Grandma had also brought on the plane somehow), then it was time to go...but not before going to Ikea and Twisted Root for yummy burgers.
We got home around 1:00 AM, but it was a fun trip and the kids definitely had a blast.
