During the storm, we got hail up to the size of quarters, and it was incredible/scary to watch. The boys loved collecting the hail, and Judy watched hoping they wouldn't get a concussion. This storm got us kicked into gear to find/purchase a storm shelter which will be put in in April.
Since Becca was still so little, we hadn't made many plans for spring break...but right at the beginning, Cameron got a fever and nasty cough. A day or two later, Lily came down with the bug. Two days later, Kimball had a fever. So, the whole week was spent with the kids in front of various screens, and Judy just tried to keep them as far away from Becca as possible. Thankfully, she never got the bug!
Cameron was working on his leprechaun trap for school and came out to inform Judy that he had stapled his finger! The entire leg of the staple had gone in, but he just pulled it out and kept working. We are constantly amazed by his pain tolerance! In March, he learned how to ride a two-wheel bike and he is obsessed now. He loves riding with the neighborhood kids. He also turned 8! We tried to cancel his birthday, but he was adamant that we couldn't, so we had to let him get older :(.
We got a little introduction into the terrible two's with Lily this month while recovering from the spring break plague, but it was tough. There was a lot of screaming, hitting, talking back, and the likes. Thankfully she got better and is much happier. We just love her little personality...she counts "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 8, 9, 10". She can now sing almost the entire ABC song. Lily learned how to push chairs around the kitchen and climb on the counters to get whatever she's in the mood for, and it's terrifying. One day we found her cooking her own toast.
Sweet little Becca turned one month old in March. We love her smiles! She has turned into a chunky little girl and people are shocked to hear how young she is because she's HUGE!
