January 2017

It was a typical January for us with a bit of snow, getting back into school, and lots of silliness!

The boys played lots of basketball, both at home with our new hoop we got for Christmas, and with their teams.
Kimball started piano this semester and loves it so far.

Lily kept us all entertained with her adorableness...
She is finally starting to learn her colors, and my favorite is when she notices the sunset and exclaims how pretty the pink clouds in the sky are. We're trying to prepare her as best we can for baby sister's arrival and she is getting a bit clingier to mom than usual. She will surprise us at times and ask for Kimball or Cameron's help instead of Mom or Dad.

This pregnancy has gone well. Tater Tot has measured perfectly all along, but I am "yuge and bigly" in the words of Donald Trump, and ready to be done. I got called to be primary pianist and am excited for this chance to improve my piano skills.
Dale got an award for Outstanding Cubmaster at a banquet, just in time to be released (from that and primary chorister) and called to be the Young Men's president.
He is busy with work and gets closer to being done wearing braces (though we don't know how much longer).  The boys have gone a few times to cut and gather firewood for our fireplace/stove, and have really put the back of the van to good use.
Mostly, we are all just anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby sister and trying to get ready as much as possible!
