She had been sick most of the week and still wasn't quite herself on her birthday, but she did really well at her doctor's appointment. She didn't even scream when the doctor listened to her heart. She is still super tiny (6th percentile in height, and not on the chart for weight), but looks very healthy.
When we got home it was actually cool enough to go on a walk, so the boys hunted Pokemon and I took pictures of my beautiful 2 year old.
Lately, Lily randomly decides she is done with clothes and will exclaim "All done my clothes" while stripping as fast as possible, so much of her birthday was spent in a diaper or in jammies which she finally decided to put on.
We had Frito pie for dinner since it's one of the few meals she will eat right now...and she devoured it. Then it was time for cake. Since she loves her bunny (aka Bummy) so much, I thought a bunny cake was in order and loved her reaction.
It seems impossible that she is already two. Right now she loves the show "Little Einsteins", reading books, her "Bummy", changing clothes frequently, jumping on the trampoline, Pikachu and Squirtle from Pokemon, R2D2 from Star Wars, and helping water the flowers outside. Her favorite songs are "Twinkle Twinkle", "I'm so Glad When Daddy Comes Home", "Popcorn", and "If You're Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hands".
We love you Lily! We're eternally grateful that you are part of our family and can't imagine life without you.
