June 2016

June was a chaotic blur! With our house being on the market, I mostly remember the mad rush to clean before each showing (and there were tons!). The boys started to think that the only reason we ever cleaned was if there was a showing. So far we haven't had any offers on our house but are hoping for one soon.

I had to go up to OKC for a doctor's appointment, so we went to the 45th Infantry Museum while we were there.

We went to Chickasaw Recreation Area for a Cub Scout activity and Kimball got to become Junior Ranger there.

We've spent lots of time at the library, and one of the activities was Library Olympics...

Before the heat set in I was really good about going on walks with the kids. Now, it's miserably hot as soon as the sun is up!
Dale & I got to do baptisms for the dead for some of my ancestors at the OKC temple while a friend watched our kids.
The kids and I went to Arbuckle Lake one day with some friends in the ward. I couldn't believe how long the boys lasted swimming in the lake (I was worn out long before them!).

Cameron had the last of his Tball games. His coach was fantastic and even had a swim party for the team after the last game. Cameron got the "Most Improved" award!
Lily is always full of surprises and fun things she learns! In June, she went through separation anxiety and wouldn't go to sleep suddenly after always being fantastic about bedtime. She sucked her thumb to the point of it swelling and peeling...it was so sad! She also figured out child locks and door knobs so nothing is safe. On Father's Day she put on Dale's tie & proudly proclaimed "my Daddy tie!". Lately she calls her bunny "bummy" which is adorable to hear.
We also celebrated 10 years of marriage! We had a Tball game that day, and decided that buying a house was our gift to each other so we spent some time recollecting our adventures together over the last 10 years once the kids were in bed. Here's to eternity!
