March 2016

At the beginning of March, Kimball, Cameron and Judy built bridges out of popsicle sticks and submitted them to a contest at the local library.

Kimball submitted his into the weight contest, and his bridge held 93.2 pounds before it broke! Cameron and Judy both won 1st in creativity in their age groups.

Cameron was the Star Student at school on the same day he presented John F Kennedy in iHistory. We are so proud of our handsome boy!

The boys got invited to our neighbor's birthday party at Lazer Zone, so Dale, Lily & Judy went bowling while they partied. Dale won both games :(.

Dale and Judy got to go on a date to see Fiddler on the Roof at ECU which was well-done but ran super late.

Cameron got to march in the AR Parade at school.

Lily was helping fold laundry and insisted on wearing some of her brother's underwear (I promise it was clean!).

Our dishwasher died finally, but the people who put in the floors just put it in front of the dishwasher, so we had to move the fridge and pull up some of the flooring in order to get out the old one and put in a new one! Then we had to put it all back again.

Then we took off on a trip to New Mexico for spring break.
The next week we colored Easter eggs!

On Easter morning, the boys woke up bright and early and hunted down every egg they could find. I made them put some back so Lily could hunt some eggs too.

Dale made a fantastic Easter dinner of ham and potatoes, and Kimball randomly exclaimed "Look, it's ham-writing!" :)

The day after Easter was Cameron's 7th birthday.

That Wednesday was a Court of Honor where Kimball received his Wolf patch and became a Bear Scout.

Then on Thursday Cameron was in his school play Bugz as an army ant. He did so well saying his lines, and I LOVE watching my kids perform. "You have to crawl on everything, go where they don't expect you. You must show up quite suddenly, be quick or they'll detect you!"

My mom came out just in time for Kimball's court of honor and Cameron's play, and to help me out. Lily has loved having Grandma here.
And that sums up our crazy, hectic March in a nutshell.
