Lately, Kimball has been saying bye-bye much more than usual, and not just to people. It's hilarious! For a while now he's said bye to cars as they drove by and will say bye-bye to people as they walk past, but the other day he started saying bye-bye to his bath water as it went down the drain. Later that day, he said bye-bye to every bite of bread he took, and kept doing it with other things. He says bye-bye to poopy diapers as they get thrown away. On Thursday as we drove up to Draper for the temple open house, he diligently said bye-bye to every semi-truck we drove past. I just love watching his personality develop as he can communicate more and more. I never thought a toddler could be so comical.
Speaking of the Draper Temple open house, it was beautiful! My favorite part was watching Kimball enjoy the temple. He recognizes Jesus all the time now and so as we went through the temple, there were plenty of pictures of Jesus for Kimball to point out. He would get so excited with each new picture. It was wonderful to be there with my amazing husband and adorable son, as well as our awesome neighbors who went with us.
