Becca turns 4!

 Becca has been looking forward to being 4! It means she can have 2 gummy vitamins instead of 1, and she gets to start pre-K in the fall. I, however, am not so sure about her being so big. I feel like Covid stole some of her childhood and some of my time with her because my focus is so divided. But, she has been such a trooper during this last chaotic year! She stopped taking naps last spring when suddenly everyone was home all the time. Becca usually plays in the mornings or asks for worksheets. She loves learning letters and can now tell me what most words start with by saying the sound and then excitedly yelling the letter that makes that sound. 

For her birthday, she changed her mind last minute from wanting a Baby Yoda cake, to wanting a pink Power Ranger cake. 

Lily turns 4!

Lily has been anxiously anticipating this birthday for months, because she's finally 4 which means she can go to Pre-K! Here, they do full-day pre-K and she's SO excited!

Cameron's birthday ended up being more exciting than expected...we ended up getting a puppy that we named Duke. Anyhow, for Cameron's birthday, I made a race car cake...

 For presents, he got a doctor's kit from Grandma & Grandpa Bundy, a card with some birthday money from Grandpa & Grandma Rex, a transporter truck from Uncle Robert, Lightning McQueen & Mater toys, VTech T-Rex from Mom & Dad, and a front end loader from Mom & Dad.

Some of Cameron's funny quirks are that he insists that his name is Cameron D (good thing his middle name starts with D) and will only let us sign his name for him if the D is included. He has to smell everything before he eats it, shoving it right up under his nose. He still moans when he's happy.

We love this boy SO much and are so blessed to have him in our family. Here's to a fantastic 4 of a year!

I'm 4!

On Kimball's birthday, we celebrated by going to the library. A little boy ran up to Kimball and asked "what's your name?" Kimball responded by yelling "Kimball Rex! And I'm 4!" In other words, he is very proud to be a big 4 year old and even got to make Mac & Cheese today under Daddy's close supervision.

Thank goodness he's 4 because it was practically torture to have Cameron's birthday two weeks earlier. Now that we've passed his birthday, Kimball is dying to be 4 1/2 so he can go to preschool. :)
