The kids worked very hard to finish their online schooling by Thursday so we could take Friday off. On Friday the 2nd, I took the kids and met up with the Ferrells at the Grayson County Frontier Museum in Sherman, TX. The museum was an outdoor collection of original buildings/houses from pioneer days and it was fun to walk through.

We stopped at a park to have lunch, and all headed back to our house. The Ferrells joined us for General Conference. Dale printed out currency from Kirtland, Ohio that the kids could earn by listening to talks or doing other tasks which they could spend at our Newell K Whitney store. We also made these temple prints using styrofoam plates:
We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit.

Poor Cameron had many nosebleeds as the weather turned more dry.
The boys went on a Scout camp out. They fished, but didn't catch any.
On the 18th, we went to church for the first time since March. We all wore masks, were not allowed to sing, and had to leave pretty quickly so no one could socialize too much to maintain social distancing. Despite all the work to get ready for such a brief time at church, it was so nice to finally be back and to gather with our church friends/family.
Cameron, Lily and Becca became obsessed with Power Rangers because of their Halloween costumes. They spent hours playing as the red, blue and pink Rangers.
The kids all took turns rolling each other up in blankets to make giant burritos.
Kimball got grounded, but told us he preferred to call it "a vacation to prison".
Cameron told us "I can be mature. I just choose not to." He also asked one night at dinner "Diabetes, is that French for 7?"
Lily informed us that she's not getting married or having kids. She is determined to have lots of dogs instead. She informed us "I'm just too cute for you to deal with."
Becca started saying her g and k sounds. She loves jumping off furniture and miraculously did not break any bones. She says she's going to marry Will King.

Judy sold several crocheted doctor bears, babysat occasionally and spent most of her time jumping from kid to kid to help with school assignments every day.
Dale kept chugging on with work and his Elder's Quorum calling. He's the regular ride to bed for the girls :).
And we celebrated Halloween Covid-style!
