November 2017

Happy Thanksgiving!
November was full of chaos and fun, and business in general. Kimball's ILO class got to go to the Museum of Osteology in Moore, and the girls got to join him.

Becca turned 9 months old. We got to eat a Thanksgiving lunch at both boys' schools (Kimball is slightly anti picture currently...)
We celebrated Dale turning 34. He finally got Risk, and totally guessed it from the wrapping paper :(.

and Judy got to take the boys to Star Skate two separate times.
We were supposed to go to Dale's aunt's in Lincoln, NE for Thanksgiving and were getting ready to pack for our trip. The night before, we noticed Lily had a bad cough so Judy took her in that Tuesday morning and we found out she had croup. After much deliberation, we decided we'd better spend Thanksgiving at home. Wednesday morning, Judy ran to the store to buy a turkey and everything we would need. That night we were able to join some friends from church at Star Skate. The next morning, Dale and Kimball played football at our ward's turkey bowl, and then we commenced cooking a feast. Except for forgetting to add eggs to the roll dough and having to start all over (which meant the rolls were late), everything worked out and the food was delicious. That night we went to the Marshall's for dessert.
The kids played in fall leaves...
and Dale got the Christmas lights all set up...
We had a pine tree in our backyard die suddenly, and because it was close to power lines, the power company came and cut it down. They had to bring a mini bucket truck to get into our backyard. They were done chopping it down within a couple hours, and the boys were bummed they had to be at school.
