We're 2/3 of the way through your first year! I feel so much excitement at the thought of you growing, and seeing who you will become.
Some things of note from this past month are:
- You can now roll everywhere! You roll clear across the room to get where you want to go.
- We moved you into Lily's old car seat because you had outgrown your infant seat. Now you actually look little in your "new" seat.
- For some reason, you hate the sound of Velcro...you sob whenever you hear it being pulled apart.
- You can get from sitting to your belly...
- Since we moved you to your crib, your sleeping got worse and worse. You were waking up 3-5 times a night and no one was getting any sleep. So, we decided to have you cry it out. You were pretty mad at us and cried for 45+ minutes the first night. But, ever since, you've been sleeping through the night. Nap time is still a completely different ball game.
- You adore Lily. No one can get you to laugh like she can; especially when she jumps up and down.
- We realized that your thighs are so chubby, that when you're sitting, if you straighten your legs, nothing but your thighs touch the ground.
- You started lifting your arms up when you want to be picked up. It's such a fun sign of understanding.
- You are still a huge cuddle-bug. You love to be held and rarely want to be put down. Sometimes, if I'm within reach, you will play on the floor for a while, but usually you just want to cuddle.
