June 2017

Go, go, go was the theme of June! On the first, Judy and the kids went up to OKC for her endocrinologist appointment. After the appointment, we went to the Oklahoma Railway Museum. Lily loved going on each of the trains, and Judy loved that it was free!

Then to the 45th Infantry Museum. We got there in time to look at all the vehicles out front but the museum was closed.
We all drove up to Noble in anticipation of Dale getting his braces off, with plans of going out to eat afterwards. Sadly, Dale only got his top braces off, and he was too bummed so we drove home afterward.
Dale had to take the young men down to Chickasaw National Recreation Area for a swim test, so our family decided to join them. The water was frigid, but the kids loved swimming, and we roasted hot dogs afterwards.
While at bat, Kimball was hit in the face by the baseball. He had quite the shiner and hated when people told him how awesome it was. "You weren't the one hit by a baseball!"
We made popsicle stick creations for a contest at the library...
We went to Cotton Patch for an early Father's Day dinner...
Judy had a dentist appointment in Noble, so she took all the kids. After, we went to the Sam Noble Museum in Norman...
We built shelves for the boys' bedroom, Becca turned 4 months old, went to Cruisin' Main to look at lots of cars, walked at the park a lot, spent tons of time at library programs, and the boys went to a sports camp hosted by a local church for several evenings. We celebrated our 11th anniversary by going to a Japanese restaurant and getting very expensive frozen yogurt afterwards.
On our anniversary was the ward pool party. We got kicked out 1/2 an hour early due to rain, but it was fun having the whole pool for our ward!
