During February, Dale was super busy at work as they transitioned to a new program, and he was spear-heading most of that process. He pulled many long days before Becca was born to get it ready. At church, he was called as the young men's president, and has been involved in weeknight activities, a camp-out, and other meetings.
We got to go out on Valentine's Day since Judy's mom was here. We went to vote for the city council election and then out to lunch at La Fiesta. We got lots of quality time together in the hospital too, just spending time with Becca without having to worry about our other 3 kids.

Judy is recovering and learning the new balance of 4 kids. She just wants to feel normal again and be able to get back out to "life"...it's hard to be patient and allow her body that time. She got called as primary pianist at church and got to do it for a couple of weeks before Becca was born.
Kimball thinks Becca is the cutest thing ever and refers to the 3 girls here as "cuties". He is very proud of his new-found skill of belching the ABC's. In the pack pinewood derby, his car won 1st Place! He makes sure that Becca gets as many kisses as possible each day.

Cameron is our resident collector...he can't help getting off the bus seat to collect whatever treasures were left behind by previous riders. He loved playing basketball again this past season and has been reading enthusiastically to reach his AR goals.

Poor Lily had her first stomach bug and threw up just days after Becca came home. She didn't want anyone but Judy and was the saddest little 2 year old ever. Lately she's very sensitive to our emotions and if we're upset she will exclaim "Be happy for me!" One time Judy said "sometimes I just need to be sad" and Lily has taken up this phrase whenever she's sad or cries..."sometimes I just need to cry Mommy". She has taken her independence to a whole new level and will often help herself in the kitchen with the aid of a chair at the counter...we have found her spreading peanut butter on cooked toast, or getting tortillas or other treats. We are shocked at how much bigger she is now the she's a big sister; she looks huge!

Little Becca is a sleepy, calm baby so far. She will sleep for 2 hours between feedings and is starting to be awake more during the day. She's a very "floppy" baby and has no interest in lifting her head during tummy time. She is content to just relax in our arms or cuddle on our chest. At 2 weeks, she weighed 8 lb, 15 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long.
The kids loved having Grandma here. She brought Australian foods which Kimball especially enjoyed-sausage rolls, meat pies- and read the "Folk of the Faraway Tree" book to them each night. Lily sobbed when Grandma drove away, and the boys begged her to take them with her...they could just go to school in NM! She made cupcakes, brought window markers, made sure homework was done, got the boys off to the bus stop each morning and took Lily on frequent walks. We are so grateful for all she did while she was here!
