On the 4th of July, we went to a flag raising ceremony at our church that morning and in the evening we had dinner and did fireworks with Dale's coworker Jorjia. The boys loved the fireworks, even after a little scare of standing too close...

Lily being born was definitely the highlight of July! But, we did a few other things...
On the 4th of July, we went to a flag raising ceremony at our church that morning and in the evening we had dinner and did fireworks with Dale's coworker Jorjia. The boys loved the fireworks, even after a little scare of standing too close...
The boys have loved catching fireflies...
We spent a lot of time at the library for their activities. The A/C and entertainment for the boys were lifesavers for this very pregnant mom!
My mom came on the 10th (Lily's due date) to help. She got to be here for my birthday on the 13th. Dale made a delicious Rolo cheesecake, and crepes with strawberries. He also gave me a DSLR camera for my birthday which I have had fun learning to use (the boys might start going crazy with how often I take pictures now, but it's for a good cause :)).

On the 14th we went to the park and walked a mile in a last-ditch effort to induce labor...
On the 15th, Lily was born and since then we have spent most of our time at home, just enjoying being a family of five! The boys are completely enamored with their baby sister...
