April 2014

How has April already come and gone? In some ways time is moving way too quickly...we're already 1/4 of the way through 2014!!! And in other ways it's dragging...over 2 months until little Noodle is due!!!
Silly morning cuddles
Enjoying the dandelions at the bus stop
We are loving the warmer weather and Cameron is especially excited to be wearing shorts. We have befriended an elderly couple up the street while we wait for Kimball's bus to arrive and she has given us several plants which Cameron proudly deems his own...
It's already time to start mowing the lawn and Kimball is usually eager to help, at least for a little while...
Kimball started TBall and had his first two games in April. Watching a bunch of 5-7 year olds try to play a game that they have no idea how to play is pretty adorable :). He did get two points during the second game but their team lost both times.
Getting ready to bat at his first TBall game
On third base at his second game, about to run home...no sweat!
Both boys got Ada Cougar shirts for their birthdays and they were so proud to match one morning.
Dale's brother and his family came down the day before Easter and we had a fun time at Dale's work using their kitchen, fishing, and having an Easter egg hunt near the lake. Cameron fell in the water twice and nearly gave me a heart attack, hence the weird outfit which was in the Goodwill bag in the trunk.
Both boys caught fish but didn't want to touch them because they were poky...
Dale's cousin David is a trucker and was driving through on Easter so he stopped and had Easter dinner with us. The highlight for the boys was getting to explore his truck!
Kimball was the stink bug in his school play, Bugz and did a fantastic job. He was initially very nervous that he wouldn't be able to remember his lines or that people would laugh at him, but he did so well! "I know I'm not the sweetest thing that ever graced your nose, but what am I to do for lunch, go hungry I suppose?"
Dale performed on his "hose-a-phone" in the ward talent show and the kids all thought it was hilarious.
I really was here for April...I've been busy trying to get the garden going, getting the nursery ready (I removed the door molding and redid it nearly all by myself!), crocheting a baby blanket, and helping this sweet little girl grow :). I don't remember the boys moving nearly this much when I was pregnant with them, and I crave sugar all the time still. Braxton Hicks have been regular for a long time but they are getting more frequent/intense and it's getting harder to move/sleep with this big belly.
30 weeks!
