December adventures

December was crazy, as is customary. As soon as my family left we pulled out all of the Christmas decorations. Our neighbor gave us her fake tree, so we let the boys use the tiny tree that has been part of our Christmas since we got married.

In the beginning of December we got a huge (for Oklahoma) snow/ice storm. The ice was under all of the snow and since there are no snow plows here, they had to shut the schools down for an entire week!

The boys had fun with Dale's snow boots...
To break up the monotony we went to the library one day and checked out a lot of books...
Kimball came home from school as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...
At our ward Christmas party, our family was on a team to make a snowman out of toilet paper. Kimball was the snowman and held perfectly still the entire time. We totally won!
Cameron had a cute Christmas program at school and his class was elves...
Kimball got to be in the AR (advanced reading parade) at school, on "wear pajamas to school day"...
We went to the local Christmas parade...

Dale cooked dinner for the sister missionaries in our ward and looked totally hot while doing so ;) He made Tuscan Garlic Chicken.
And the boys got to see Santa and make a million crafts at the library...
