Just Because

A friend complained that he has to look at my other blog to find anything out about our family anymore, which I suppose is true since we only posted once in all of February!
So, here is an assortment of randomness:
  • Cameron can now climb down stairs...thank goodness. I can only take the thump, thump thump of him falling down the stairs so many times! It was only 3, and I'm sure there will be more because kids are like that, but major stress off my shoulders!
  • Cameron is now taking a few steps here and there. I think once he gets it, he will take off running.
  • Kimball is our resident dinosaur! Everything is about dinosaurs. We had to remind him not to roar at church today because he roars at random all day long. Even then, he still got a few roars out during Sacrament, though thankfully not full volume.
  • It's spring break...not that we know what that is yet. Dale has a massive paper due tomorrow.
  • Tornado season has begun! There was a tornado west of us that damaged 5 houses and now I'm feeling like these apartments aren't very tornado safe. Our best bet is to climb on top of the washer and dryer in the little closet under the stairs.
  • I keep busy with the boys and try to sew every once and a while. My sewing machine can only do straight stitch due to lots of reasons, so I'm trying to come up with various sewing projects so I can drive this thing to the ground.
  • We teach 6 year olds in primary. At least 7 of them every week. This is the most exhausting calling I've ever had. The fun part is keeping seven 6 year olds entertained, as well as Cameron without the two parties distracting/bothering the other.
Our lives are consumed with law school and our children and we love it (though I don't think Dale would ever admit that part about law school).

If loving law school means I want to spend all my time there, become a professor, or have a goal of working 60+ hours every week for the rest of my life, then no, I do not love law school.

If loving law school means that I enjoy what I'm learning about, anticipate enjoying practice, and enjoy associating with the other students, then I do love law school, even if it temporarily precludes some other things in life.
