Becca turns 5!

5 is now Becca's favorite number! She was so excited to be 5 and spent her whole birthday asking if we could just open presents even though no one else was home. She loves unicorns, purple, pink, and dressing up! So that's what her birthday focused on...

Lily turns 5!

Lily has been looking forward to her birthday for months. As soon as summer break started, she would wake up every day asking if it was her birthday yet, and I would have to give her the bad news which resulted in quite a few tears. I finally printed out a calendar with balloons on her birthday so she could mark off every day we got closer to her birthday.

Cameron turns 5!

At the end of March, Cameron turned 5 years old! We celebrated on his birthday as a family with cowboy delight and root beer for dinner, and a Lego construction cake with sherbet afterwards (all per Cameron's request).

We had a birthday party the next day at the local park with friends from school and church. Cameron chose Lego as his theme so we colored Lego faces, played pin the head on the Lego man,
had a pinata,
and decorated cupcakes as Lego faces.
It was so fun seeing Cameron with his friends in a setting outside of school and he just beamed at being the special birthday boy, exclaiming to anyone who walked by that it was his birthday party. He is so proud to be 5 and is growing more and more each day. We are so blessed to have this smart, funny, handsome, witty, silly boy in our family!

K turns 5!

Um, almost a month ago we celebrated Kimball's birthday. The week before his birthday we had a birthday party for him...the first since he was 2 and I think it turned out well. We just didn't really get any pictures of it :(. We were supposed to have the party at a park but the weather was less than favorable so we had about 8 extra kids and their parents packed into our little apartment, but the kids got along well and I think the parents enjoyed talking! The theme was dinosaurs.

K's winking face ;)
The night before Kimball's birthday we had a tornado come through town and were supposed to get more tornadoes on his birthday so we celebrated as a family in the morning to prevent being interrupted by any tornadoes. Thankfully no more came through town and Kimball was so excited about his new big boy bike (which I have no pictures of!). We just made cupcakes for his birthday and each iced our own and unwrapped presents so it was pretty low-key.
