The kids got their advent calendars from Aunt Ganie. They all loved opening their chocolates each day.
We had our ward Christmas party, and Kimball got to race to be a reindeer.
Dale's work had their annual Christmas party, and it was themed off of Christmas Vacation. Dale dressed up as the boss.
This month, Kimball had his first band concert. Inspired by the show Relative Race, he started calling Dale "Daddio", which quickly caught on with Becca. At one point, Kimball pointed out that "it's weird that Jesus is the lamb of God, but the shepherd of men."
Cameron's project to dream about was building a go kart. He spent most of his free time trying to convert Lily to having a passion for Legos as strong as his. One of the fish disappeared, and he was devastated.
Lily loved all of the festivities and kept asking if it was still the Christmas season. She loved turning on the Christmas lights.
Becca decided she was too big for her high chair and now sits at the table like a big girl. She figured out that bunnies are not cats, and loves her stuffed animal "bummy". My family introduced her to the game "Trip trap to Boston" and she was hooked...always asking for "Tip Topple".
Duke went to jail. They have a program there where the inmates train dogs. It was harder on the boys than we could've expected. Kimball especially misses Duke, and we are all waiting for the call to come pick him up.
After our trip to Colorado, we also got to go up to Norman to see Dale's brother Greg be set apart as their new bishop. Dale's dad and brother Gary flew out, so we got to see them too!
