I've been so excited to have a garden this year and was very pleased with how it turned out. This year, I decided to mostly experiment and learn through trial and error. So far, I've gotten 3.5 cups of corn (blanched, cut off the cob and frozen), 3 cups of pureed pumpkin, several bell peppers (green, red & orange), and 35+ pounds of tomatoes which I have used to make 15 pints of salsa and 18 pints of crushed tomatoes.

I planted a bunch of tomato seedlings on top of the tornado shelter since grass hadn't grown in, and they went insane! While we went to
Utah earlier this summer, the plants went from tiny to too ginormous to put in cages, so they just made a huge hedge.
This was my first year canning as well and even though I was extremely nervous and intimidated, it worked out well!
